Nice restaurant. Pleasant ambience. Clean. Go here often. Also very modern with the tablets to order.
Amazing food
Ordering the system at the table is a great idea for me personally, so you don't have to keep calling the waiter. At the beginning there is a brief instruction on how to order, after which you can start immediately. The food would be prepared quickly. The meat is extremely tasty, there is nothing to complain about. A star deduction, however, for the brews they offer I didn't like them that much. The staff is very friendly!
Food was good. Some things were still frozen. Eg the squids. We were satisfied with the food. Service was bad. Very inattentive and unfriendly. We had the reservation at 9:00 p.m. when we wanted to order something after the second round, they told us that the kitchen would actually close at 9:00 p.m. I wonder why they still accept our reservation when the kitchen closes at 9:00 p.m. Then they said to us: "This is the last lap okay ??". So for the price I don't have to put up with that.
Amazing Hotpots!!!
Fresh ingredients. Fast service thanks to a tablet. Price absolutely fair. The cellar is also very nice.
Very good hotpot restaurant in a beautiful vault in the basement or outside. The selection is good, as is the technical equipment. The staff is courteous and friendly. You can't fault it much. In terms of price, you have to reckon with 35 to 40 euros per person.
One of the best hot pot places in Munich ?
The taste is very good, both the service and the ingredients are impeccable, it is definitely the best hot pot restaurant in Munich, none of them! Although the wait is a little longer, the food will never disappoint. With exquisite presentation and service, the food is worth the wait
Pricey. Ingredients not so fresh. Nice staff.
Lovely Environment and recommend this Softdrink
We had to wait quite a while to be seated even with a reservation but the food was absolutely amazing.
Not far from the Munich slaughterhouse, there is the all-you-can-eat hotpot restaurant CHOIS. Seen from the outside, the restaurant looks rather inconspicuous. But once you enter, a very modern, but not uncomfortably furnished restaurant spreads out in front of you. With an attached part of the garden that invites you to linger and relax on warm summer nights. But the location is full to the brim! So make a reservation! You can choose to eat from your PC tablet. As I said, modern ... but is easy and almost self-explanatory to use. You choose one basic broth per person for the hotpot and three ingredients ... meat, fish, vegetables and so on ... wait a minute and off you go! Boiling hot, the hotpot and the selected ingredients come on a mini gas oven. Everything fresh and everything delicious! You can order again every 15 minutes, and eat and order etc ... All-you-can-eat but good! The things all taste good! At a price! Class! A star deduction is only given for the somewhat excessive drinks prices! EUR 6.90 for a 0.75l mineral water bottle or 4.90 for a 0.4l cola! Then you earn what you reduce the price of the food ... and believe me, hotpot food makes you thirsty! Something comes together ... Otherwise worth a visit!
I used to be very happy and regularly there. Unfortunately, I can no longer recommend the store. It costs € 27 per person, beer & juice spritzers € 4.50. You have 2 1/2 hours and can order 3 ingredients every 15 minutes. There is the possibility to sit inside and outside. Inside, the ambience is really nice and the toilets are clean. Unfortunately, the quality of the food, the sizes and the service have deteriorated. We did not receive about half of our orders. Sometimes laps were left out completely. We kept complaining about the first three laps, but in the end it just annoyed us. There is no reference to desserts that are not available and are subject to charge. If you ask about your scoop of ice cream half an hour later, it just says "We havn't." The potatoes are still hard after an hour, the corn is light and tastes gruesome and the lamb is tough as the sole of a shoe. With the best will in the world, the price / performance ratio is no longer right. One in three waitresses could not speak German and English, even partially. In the end there was no apology, but a higher bill for items we didn't have.
Food was ok but the service quality was bad. Nobody taught how to order with a tablet. And the meat, seafood and side dishes could. The five of us only order 15 minutes then we had to go again for 15 minutes. waiting. One serving of vegetables and seafood was very small. The orders always came after 15 minutes. or did it take longer. I will never come back.
Good food, service could be better
The restaurant was great. Unfortunately it has slacked off a lot. Unfortunately no longer recommended.
Very good concept of ordering food. The quality is very good.
Hotpot here is really delicious and everything can be conveniently ordered with a tablet when you get the hang of it. All ingredients were fresh and plentiful. For the price, that's really very good! Will definitely recommend ?
Tasty food. A worthy experience.
Eat good. I don't know if it's like in China. But everything was fine for us. Since a lot of people wrote about stomach problems here ... we were fine the next day too. The ordering system took some getting used to at first, but perfect in Corona times, as it minimizes contact with strangers.
Very good HotPot in Munich. The offer is great and it is delivered quickly. The food is really recommendable, even if it is quite expensive. There is one star deduction, because the service was sometimes quite hesitant to fill up the hotpot. In addition, a few more typical Chinese ingredients such as tofu skin would be great. All in all, more than 4.5 stars than four.
As close as it can get to real Sichuan food. Great experience within a nice ambient ?
It was a fun experience. It is the first time that i try this hotpot (Sukiyaki) and it was really good. They bring you the Hotpot and you decide how and what to cook on it. Its an all you can eat and you are able to ask for more extra dishes every 6m (meat, rice, vegetables, lamm, etc) Just be warned, they do take its time between every time you ask for more, so plan it so you don't run out of food suddenly (service it's a bit slow)
Very good food all ingredients fresh and tasty. Warning, I can eat really spicy, I thought, and as a precaution I only ordered spicy. That's enough thick I don't want to know how the extra spicy soup is
Amazing Experience! Highly recommendable. I would give 12 out of 10 :D
This was a nice evening. I like the way the hot-pot is organized. You choose two styles of hot-pot in one pot and you can order 6 different types of ingredients every 15 minutes. They lost one star due to the fish being too soft and therefore falling apart when cooking (consider redfish or any other fish that is more firm in texture) and the beef was not the best either, it had a bit or cartilage and was a bit chewy. Probably due to the corona situation so we definitely will give them another chance to excel.
Very good,like always
Best hot pot in the town! Nice ambiance (indoor) and good atmosphere (outdoor). The hotpot's dish selection was also fresh and great. The desert was also delicious (I chose matcha mochi). For those who don't eat pork, the minus point was that they use pork as one of ingredients for all non-vegetarian soups.
Very authentic Hotpot Restaurant. Highly recommended!
Great Food, beautiful restaurant setting and very friendly service. Come with a big appetite!
Very good fire pot restaurant. The ingredients are very fresh. The meat (lamb and pork belly) was cut wafer-thin as we know it in Asia. The service is extremely friendly and courteous. The broth has a very intense taste. We recommend. Only if there were a little more ingredients for the dips would it be perfect.
This place is very good. They specialize only in hot pot which makes it very authentic. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and decoration. The food tastes great and it's all you can eat. I would also recommend their desserts, it's one of the only places in town where you can get traditional mochi.
The place looks very classy! My first time fire pot and it was really something different. The staff is very attentive and friendly, but I find the prices very high. The drinks are available from 4.50. I would have liked that for the price of 30 euros you could have more seafood such as shrimp at no extra charge. An experience is worth it.
Simply delicious. A great selection, whether fish, meat, vegetables, pasta. You can't do everything in the 15 minute break per order. So do not worry if you are very hungry. Tray is easy to use. The service was very brisk and friendly
Fast friendly service, great experience with the hotpot and the food tastes great and is super quick. You don't go out too full. Price is high but fully justified
Our favorite spot. Definitely recommend the Thsi broth
Taste so good! If you trying to find real taste of hotpot, you have to visit this restaurant! It tastes exactly the same as the hotpot in China, with good quality of foods. Btw you have to make a reservation, its full all the time.
Amazing food, concept and service.
Super nice atmosphere, great food, easy service, super recommend if you are willing to spend a bit more for some interesting food. Only 4 stars due to the price of the drinks
Best Chinese restaurant in Munich
New and different experience! You need someone who knows how to choose your platter. Overall good experience! Am I going again for it. No am afraid :)
Great place for those looking to get an authentic hotpot fix in Munich. A good range of decent quality ingredients (all you can eat) and soup bases makes this place good value if you are a big eater. Only gripe is that the service here is rather slow as there are clearly too little service staff for such a busy restaurant. Drinks are also on the pricier end but I guess that’s where they recoup their margins on the all you can eat
Good
Amazing place! Looks nothing like a Chinese restaurant but a trendy restaurant lounge so I was a bit taken aback at first. Easy ordering system with an iPad saves the servers a lot of effort in taking your order repeatedly and improves efficiency. Different hot pot soups that are not restricted to Chinese origin. It’s a bit pricey but an experience you need to have at least once. Highly recommend.
It was really good and worth the price
It was extremely disappointing experience. The worst service ever. We 8 people were arranged in a semi-closes cabinet downstairs, nice environment with privacy. But after the first round of service bringing us some food all in small plates, we were running out of food for almost one hour, we were sitting there with empty pot (literally, even all the soup material in the soup were eaten during the waiting time). The food we order never arrived. And nobody came to us. During these time i went upstairs for 2- 3 times to the staffs and ask if someone could come to us and if we could get some food, the answer is the router downstairs is not working properly, so they didn't receive the order info. BUT STILL no one came! After one hour sitting and 3 times went up to the bar asking for food and service. I felt i was on the edge of running out of patience. I had to go upstairs again and bring one of the staff who looks like a manager coming down to the table with me to show how it looks like, although she was not even really willing to come with me and I insisted. 20mins later finally we got some meat and vegetables. Plus a fruit-plate as a small compensation. But the appetite was already totally gone. The whole situation was rediculous: if the restaurant choose to use iPad ordering system, PLUS time gap limitations for ordering, then they should ensure that works. Obviously they knew already the signal downstairs was weak, and sometimes doesn't work at all, why still just let us sit there without sending staff to come to check once a while if everything is ok. The most rediculous point is: even with me going up to the staff telling them the situation, STILL NO ONE CAME to have a look. This made me really angry. Best part is: the next morning, 3 of us had diarrhea. NEVER EVER!
Food is really tasty, and specially Xiu's service is perfect.
Very good hotpot with a lot of choice for the base broth. The meat there was really tender and ingredients were relatively fresh. However, the choice for sauce were not huge. They are all pre-made and we cannot make our own. Also the prices are very high, especially the beverages one. They are playing on the fact that it gets hot in there to make you purchase expensive drinks... (5 euro for a cola)
Worth for going.
